Ellen wilson was a very loving and caring person a much loved Mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. who is very sadly missed Ellen was always full of fun and never had an empty house!! everyone was so shocked she was taken from us so suddenly. Sadly, in the last two years Ellen's health deteriorated, but she stood up to it and just got on with life. Ellen Wilson is remembered as an outgoing, caring, genuine person who was open-minded, and community minded. She was compassionate and a woman of encouragement. She was motherly and fiercely loyal to her family. She was a good listener and had a brilliant sense of humour. Ellen had two sayings for which she was well known: ''dont judge people''-and she would also say that ''nothing would shock her''. Ellen had a heart for people less well off than herself. she was well known in the community for her floral arrangments which she would give to people. she enjoyed the music of the Drifters and Cliff Richard and she enjoyed reading crime fiction. Her main interests-indeed, her main loves- were her family her fellowship and her church where she was a much-valued sunday school teacher and a member of the healing group. Ellen you will never be forgotten. God Bless xxx

Only the best

A heart of gold stopped beating
Two shining eyes at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best.

God knows you had to leave us,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day he took you home.

To some you are forgotten,
To others just the past,
But to us who loved and lost you,
Our memories will always last.

Wishes

If we could have a lifetime wish,
A dream that would come true.
We'd pray to God with all our hearts,
For yesterday and you.

A thousand words can't bring you back,
We know because we have tried.
And neither can a million tears,
We know because we have cried.

You left behind our broken hearts,
And just a handful of memories too.
We did not want these memories,
why could we not have you....XXXXX

Dont grieve for me.

Don't grieve for me,
for now i'm free
i'm following the path
God laid for me.
I took his hand when
I heard his call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to work or pray.
Tasks left undone
must stay that way,
I found that peace at
the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with rememberd joy.
Perhaps my time has
seemed all too breif,
Don't lenghten it now
with undue greif.
Lift your hearts,
and share with me
God wanted me now,
He set me free.
